A LITTLE ABOUT US
Earth to Ocean Ceramics
I’m based in North Devon, close to both spectacular coastline and rolling moorland. I draw the inspiration for my pottery from the beauty of the local landscape, particularly my choice of natural colours - greens, blues and rich earthy tones too. Or literally from earth to ocean.
I’m very much aware of the environmental impact of pottery production. My aim is to create functional pieces that can be used every day, without damaging the environment in the process. I take pride in using natural resources and making every process as efficient as possible – for example, by using electricity generated by our solar panels to power my equipment. I want to capture some of the essence of this breathtaking part of the world whilst minimising my impact on it.
