This butter dish measures approximately 10.5 cm in diameter and 8.5 cm in height. Simply place about 1 cm of cold water in the base, fill the top with butter, and invert to seal. The water creates an airtight barrier, keeping your butter soft, spreadable, and fresh for up to a month – without refrigeration.

I love this butter dish. The colour is so beautiful and it looks like a work of art on my kitchen worktop. The butter is a perfect spreading consistency right down to the last mouthful. It looks great on the table too. I have small hands and there is a substantial lip to lift the butter part out without fear of dropping it. A practical and gorgeous item. I wish I had bought one sooner.
